Our mission is To Better the Man, through the creation and perpetuation of Brotherhood - upon the virtues of Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor and Patriotism .
Alpha Sigma Phi originally chartered at CU Boulder in 1915. After a 50 year hiatus, beginning shortly after WWII, we re-established ourselves at CU in 2013, led by a group of passionate, hard-working men committed to becoming the premier fraternity at CU Boulder. Through bettering ourselves, we strive to change what it means to be a Greek Man at The University of Colorado. Over the course of our first two years, our fraternity nearly tripled in size. In 2014, the Interfraternal Council named us the “Most Improved Chapter". In 2015, we were once again awarded the "Most Improved Chapter" as well as "Chapter of the Year". We did not earn these awards simply from rapid growth; we earned them through a dedication to self-improvement and by recruiting the gentlemen who truly represent the best-of-the-best. We strive for individual and brotherhood excellence by participating in a wide variety of philanthropic endeavors, service projects, and through a common passion for academic success and the pursuit of knowledge. Alpha Sigma Phi represents the best of Greek Life at CU-Boulder, and it is a really exciting time to be a member of this chapter. Join us, and join a brotherhood of men devoted to being the best men, the best brothers, and the best people we possibly can be.
